10 Inspiring Words for A Daughter

I’ve recently had a realization that Clare’s need for my attention is rapidly growing. With her nature to ask a question every ten minutes, it’s been a real struggle to focus on anything the past week.

Why is the flower pink? What’s a coffee? Where does kung fu panda live? Why are the trolls tiny? The list of question truly goes on.

Joel usually answers in the funniest ways but I’m always the serious one. I feel like I should always explain everything properly so she understands. I’ve now realized that being a creative mom takes a lot of effort. While I fervently wished for this day to come when her inquisitive nature has begun to emerge, I am looking forward to moments when she’s asleep and I can do things that I need to do, write and finish errands because it’s  the crazy busy season and a full-time mom with freelance projects needs some rest too!

So, instead of whining over how low my self-esteem as a mom is when it comes to discipline and orderliness in the house – I decided to compile my favorite words and quotes about women. I keep reminding myself that I’m doing good raising a girl to be a brave woman someday.

We might not have completely perfect moments together but you will always be my number one priority Jellaena Clare.
